The Great Glen runs from Fort William to Inverness or the other way round depending on where you are starting. The Great Glen is actually a geological fault line that is now filled with water and also the Caledonian Canal that offers a short cut for boats from coast to coast.

Highland Activities outdoor centre is based at The Great Glen Water Park near the villages of Spean Bridge and Invergarry, 25 miles from Fort William and 45 miles from Inverness on the A82.

Loch Ness and the village of Fort Augustus is only a short 10 mile rive away and also has plenty of lively pubs, restaurants. Fort Augustus is at the head of Loch Ness so you can even o some sight seeing on route (or better still paddle into the loch with us on our rafting safari or canoe trips.
