Highland Activities are proud to announce the launch of our new quad biking centre at The Clan Donald Centre at Armadale on the Isle of Skye!

Quad biking on the Isle of Skye is simply fantastic! Great views, excellent off road terrain and ease of access being the only Island on the est coast of Scotland with a bridge across to it and a ferry from Mallaig. The Clan Donald Centre is just a short drive, walk or cycle from the Caledonian Macbrayne ferry terminal at Armadale and only a 20 mile drive from the Skye Bridge and the Kyle of Lochalsh.

1 Hour Skye Quad Biking Experience £45 pp

This 1 hour quad biking trip around the historic and scenic Clan Donald Estate will take you through  you through some of the best scenery on the Island of Skye. With views of the Hebridean Islands of Rhum & Eigg, the Knoydart hills and the west coast mainland this is a spectacular and unique place to come on a quad biking trek.

After meeting our staff and initial safety briefing, you will be taught about the controls on the quad bike before embarking on some  training on fields & gentle forest tracks. You will build up your level of experience throughout the trek.  Once you & your instructors are confident of your skill and handling of your quad bike you will head off into areas of technical off road terrain including steep ups and downs, nerve racking side slopes and more fun & adventure, we have a variety of routes available for all levels of ability.

2 Hour Skye Quad Biking Experience – £65 per person (Age 16 +)

Our 2 hour quad biking trip at Clan Donald Skye is a fantastic fun, scenic off road eperience & we have access to the best possible quad biking terrain on this spectacular estate with some stunning views over to the islands, Knoydart & the .

Starting off with an initial safety briefing and an introduction to the controls of your quad bike, you will receive  some  initial training before setting off on gentle forest tracks & then building up your skill level and the level of terrain as you progress. You will ride your quad bike through some of Scotland’s spectacular mountain scenery & once you & our instructors are confident of your skill level, you will head off into areas of technical off road terrain including steep ups and downs, nerve racking side slopes and more fun & adventure and we have a variety of routes available for all levels of ability.
