Highland Activities offer canoeing lessons & canoe trips near Fort William and Aviemore.

Canoeing is a great fun way to enjoy the water. Canoeing involves sitting or kneeling in an open canoe that are also known as Canadian canoes and using a single ended paddle to control the boat. All of our instructors are experienced canoeists and have been paddling since they were kids and now enjoy coaching.

We offer introductory canoeing sessions & intermediate canoe instruction on flat water, we also run canoe trips on Loch Oich & Loch Laggan as well as white water river trips in our 2 man inflatable canoes called funyaks.

Who Can Go Kayaking?

Anyone over the age of 7 can come kayaking with Highland Activities.
