Kayaking Trips & Lessons Near Fort William

Highland Activities offer kayaking and canoeing taster sessions and lessons near Fort William from our centre on Loch Oich at The Great Glen Water Park. Loch Oich is a great place to learn to kayak as it is the most sheltered loch in the Great Glen system as well as being a beautiful place to paddle.

We offer introductory kayaking sessions & intermediate kayak instruction on flat water, we can also run introduction to moving water and white water instruction for the more advanced paddlers.

2 Hour Intro To Kayaking £30 pp

During this 2 hour lesson your instructor will take you through the basic skills required to first of all keep you safe on the water on dry land before getting into your boat. Once you are in your kayak with paddle in hand you will then start to learn some of the basic paddling strokes and techniques to help you paddle forwards, backwards & turn.

Who Can Go Kayaking?
